Service Description

This course is designed for shooters interested in developing strong fundamentals in precision rifle shooting. Students are introduced to the core skills required to become an accurate and consistent marksman, including proper rifle setup, optic zeroing, and the collection of ballistic data. Emphasis is placed on understanding wind, holds, and the characteristics of precision rifle systems. By the end of this course, students will leave with a solid foundation in precision shooting and the knowledge needed to continue training independently or progress to the next level of Sniper instruction. Course Topics Include: Internal and External Ballistics Accuracy vs. Precision Proper Rifle Setup Dry-Fire Fundamentals Zeroing at 100 Meters Learning Your Optic Data Collection Calculating Holdovers Wind Calling Dialing vs. Holding with Your Reticle Introduction to Chronographs & Ballistics Apps Package Includes: Range fees Insurance Private range bay Professional instruction ***If you do not own a sniper rifle, a rifle rental option is available. Ammunition not included! Will be available to purchase at the range. Required Equipment: Semi-automatic or bolt-action rifle chambered in 5.56 (.223) or greater 80 Rounds of quality ammunition (No Steel-Core or AP Ammo). Recommended calibers to choose from: 5.56/.223, .308 Win/7.62*51, 6.5 Creedmoor, .30-06, .270 Win, .300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag, 6.5 PRC, 6mm ARC, 6mm PRC. Quality scope with minimum 8x magnification Please notify us in advance of your reticle type Bipod Notebook Smartphone with the following apps installed: Hornady Ballistics Applied Ballistics Quantum GeoBallistics Optional Equipment: Medium to large backpack (for use as a rifle rest) Rear bag rest Instructor: Joshua Movich Former Infantry Sniper Section Leader – United States Army U.S. Army Sniper School U.S. Army Foreign Weapons School 7.5 years of service as an Infantryman Former Staff Sergeant and Sniper Section Leader Josh recently completed his second contract with the U.S. Army, where his primary role included training and leading soldiers in sniper fundamentals and team operations. He is an avid shooter who regularly trains and competes in shooting competitions and is passionate about developing shooters of all experience levels.
